I import my products from China by using door to door service. Sometimes a container can cost up to RM15,000. However, ever since I got the advice from Mindstorm through their courses, I started to understand how to use the duty-free allowance, so that my products are exempted from 10-15% import duty. I let the manufacturer declared the FOB Port Klang rate, the Malaysia customs clearance, inclusive of SST cost me around RM3,000 only. I save RM7,000 from 1 container, which is 47%.
